The Unborn Dream- How To Courageously Step Into Your Dreams
It’s a peculiar and fascinating thing when a baby of any sort is born into this world.
With absolutely no choice of its own, a baby is conceived. Two specialized cells come together to form an embryo, and through the delicate process of cell division, it quickly grows.
Over time, the fetus develops to the point that the mother’s own internal intelligence knows the time has come.
She feels one contraction.
And yet another as they come in quicker succession.
And then it happens.
The Miracle Of Birth
That amazing passage from the warmth and safety of the womb, this helpless baby makes her journey to the vast and sometimes dangerous place we call “the world”.
Throughout her life, she will learn and grow.
She’ll have triumphs and make mistakes.
All these choices and decisions are seemingly within her control, very different from how she entered this world, which was completely beyond her control.
And so it is with the journeys of many men and women. They get to a certain point in life and feel a profound stirring within their soul.
A dream, much like an unborn child, has been born within them.
A vision of what life could really look like if they just trusted enough to walk in that direction, taking one step at a time, day after day.
Do You Have A Dream Inside You?
Is it a vision of a healthy, growing marriage with a spouse who is truly your life-partner?
Is it an ideal of being beyond just debt-free, of living a life of financial harmony?
Or is it a dream of having a career that truly matches up with all of your strengths, gifts, and temperaments?
Much like the baby in the opening paragraph, this dream within you has its own inner intelligence. It desperately desires to be born, to see the light of this big, bright world.
In fact, it must be born.
Stretch, Grow, Become!
The first step in living the life you want is to fully identify your dreams. What do you want?
What is it, that if another month or year passes, will simply result in more regret and disappointment?
Grab a sheet of paper and let your thoughts flow.
Next, ask yourself: Of the dreams I’ve listed, which one is the scariest?
And there, my friends, is the dream that must be born.
It may have been conceived many years ago. You may have felt it kicking within you, reminding you of it’s presence, applying pressure to be expressed.
Will you give birth to this dream?
If so, be prepared to protect and nurture it from the elements. For dreams can be as innocent and fragile as a newborn.
Rest assured, you’ll have to defend and protect it from naysayers- and your own doubts.
However, just like a newborn of any animal, if you feed it, care for it, and nurture it on a daily basis, it will grow, gain strength, and become an inspiration for others to follow their dreams.
So, what’s a dream that you’re committed to realizing in the new year? Why is this dream so important for you?
Change isn’t easy. If it was, everyone would be living the dream. Having a coach who takes people from where they are to where they want to be makes all the difference. Call me today to learn more and schedule your complimentary consultation.
